For coaches and leadership professionals

Bring greater depth and structure to individual leadership development

The Leadership Drivers Analysis™ helps practitioners identify the values, motivational drivers and recurring patterns shaping how their clients lead, particularly when pressure increases.

Use the framework to support more focused interpretation, deeper developmental conversations and practical leadership action.

The professional challenge

Behaviour is visible. What drives it often is not.

Leadership clients may recognise what they do without being able to identify the underlying values and motivations influencing the pattern.

  • Feedback identifies a behaviour but not what is driving it.
  • A familiar strength begins creating unintended pressure or impact.
  • Development conversations remain broad because there is no clear priority.
  • Insight does not consistently translate into practical action.
  • The client knows something needs to change but cannot clearly name where to begin.

The Leadership Drivers Analysis™ provides a structured foundation for deeper and more focused development work.

Who the licence is for

Designed for professionals supporting individual leaders

  • Executive and leadership coaches
  • Leadership development advisors
  • Organisational development consultants
  • Independent HR and people professionals
  • Experienced practitioners supporting leadership transitions
  • Other suitably experienced professionals working with individual leaders

Applications are considered individually. Relevant professional experience and the intended use of the methodology will be considered.

Approval is not automatic. Each application is assessed on its own merits before a professional licence is granted.

What the framework helps reveal

A structured view of the leadership pattern beneath behaviour

For each client, the analysis provides a clear view of the values and motivations shaping their leadership.

Primary and secondary drivers

Identify the two motivations most strongly influencing how the client approaches decisions, responsibility and impact.

Most active values

See the values the client is most likely to prioritise and protect when expectations compete or pressure rises.

Leadership tensions

Examine how the client balances results and relationships, growth and stability, and principles and self-mastery.

Strengths of the current pattern

Recognise the contributions created by the client's current leadership pattern.

Patterns under pressure

Identify where familiar strengths may become overextended and produce unintended consequences under pressure.

Leadership development range

Identify responses that are currently less active and could be developed to increase flexibility across leadership situations.

Focused development priorities

Translate the analysis into a small number of practical priorities for focused leadership development.

This is not a personality test. It is a structured view of the motivational pattern influencing leadership decisions, behaviour and responses under pressure.

What the licence includes

A structured methodology supported by practical tools

  • Professional onboarding
  • Interpretation guidance
  • Access to the Leadership Drivers Analysis™
  • Personalised individual-client reports
  • Draft Leadership Development Plans
  • Practitioner guidance and supporting resources
  • Framework and resource updates
  • Permission to use the methodology with individual clients while the licence remains active

Human interpretation remains central. The framework supports the practitioner's judgement rather than replacing it.

How it works

A structured pathway from application to practitioner-led development

The pathway begins with an application and suitability conversation, then moves through onboarding into individual client use and practitioner-led development.

1

Professional application

The practitioner submits an enquiry outlining their professional experience and intended use of the methodology.

2

Suitability conversation

TanbrieGold discusses the practitioner's experience, client context and whether the professional licence is an appropriate fit.

3

Onboarding and interpretation guidance

The approved practitioner completes onboarding and learns how to interpret the framework, reports and development-plan content responsibly.

4

Individual client use

The practitioner purchases an Individual Client Bundle for each client. The client completes the Leadership Drivers Analysis™ and receives a personalised report and draft Leadership Development Plan.

5

Practitioner-led development

The practitioner interprets the results with the client and integrates the insights into their own advisory, coaching or leadership-development process.

The practitioner's professional judgement remains central at every step, with the framework providing structure and depth rather than prescription.

Individual client use

Designed for individual client development

The professional licence permits use of the Leadership Drivers Analysis™ with the licence holder's individual clients.

It does not include:

  • Organisational leadership mapping
  • Team-wide analysis
  • Group training or facilitation
  • Organisation-wide leadership programmes
  • Internal organisational licensing
  • Sublicensing or transferring access to another practitioner

Where a client wants to extend the work to a leadership team or wider organisation, the engagement must be discussed with TanbrieGold.

Depending on the scope, organisational work may be delivered directly by TanbrieGold or collaboratively with the licensed practitioner under a separate agreement.

The boundary protects confidentiality, interpretation quality and the integrity of the methodology.

Your role

Your expertise remains central

The analysis does not replace professional judgement or the practitioner-client relationship.

The practitioner:

  • Provides context and interpretation
  • Guides the development conversation
  • Helps the client test the analysis against lived experience
  • Supports the client to identify relevant development priorities
  • Determines the structure and price of their own professional services
  • Retains responsibility for practising within their own professional competence and ethical obligations
